South Carolina has fired men’s basketball coach Darrin Horn after the Gamecocks’ disappointing season in the Southeastern Conference, a person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press. The person spoke to AP on condition of anonymity because no public announcement has been made. South Carolina athletic director Eric Hyman has scheduled a 1:30 p.m. ET news conference to discuss the men’s basketball program.
