Basketball players recruited from across the country soon catch the Big Blue Nation’s infectious ardor for UK basketball, but one player has loved the team since he was in diapers — literally. Like so many little boys growing up in the Lexington area, Jarrod Polson dreamed of being a Wildcat while he was shooting hoops with his dad and older brothers. “He always wanted to play at UK,” George Polson, Jarrod’s father, said. “That has always been his life dream.”
