And it seems like the Kentucky assisant basketball coach’s tale hasn’t even gotten to the good part yet. Earlier this month, the most recent chapter came to a close when the Wildcats won the NCAA Tournament national championship. “Kentucky is a special place,” the 1985 Northeast Jones High School graduate said. “It is hard to explain the passion the people have for basketball in this state. I guess you could say people love it here and in most other places they just like it.”
