Rajon Rondo
After the Celtics Game 1 loss, we opined that Plan B had to include “making a few more shots and asking Rajon Rondo [stats] to put on a cape.” But even that wasn’t enough. On a night when Rondo was other-worldly, they still couldn’t achieve another outcome. Rondo played the full 53 minutes, providing a career-high 44 points with eight rebounds and 10 assists — a combination of levels never reached by anyone in a playoff game. Ever.
