With the release of the new ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia, seven former Wildcats will be on hand to sign the book Thursday, Oct. 14 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Follett’s UK Bookstore. Among the UK legends will be Wallace “Wah Wah” Jones, Joe B. Hall, Kyle Macy, Richie Farmer, Jeff Sheppard, Scott Padgett and Wayne Turner. ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia: The Complete History of the Men’s Game is a history of the sport over the last century. Featuring NCAA Tournament history, various anecdotes on the game and a team-by-team review of the top 250 programs among other things, the book also ranks the all-time greatest programs, placing the University of Kentucky at the top.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
