Kentucky legends to appear at book signing for ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia

With the release of the new College Basketball Encyclopedia, seven former Wildcats will be on hand to sign the book Thursday, Oct. 14 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Follett's Bookstore.  Among the UK legends will be Wallace “Wah Wah” Jones, , , , , and ESPN College Basketball Encyclopedia: The Complete History of the Men's Game is a history of the sport over the last century. Featuring NCAA Tournament history, various anecdotes on the game and a team-by-team review of the top 250 programs among other things, the book also ranks the all-time greatest programs, placing the University of at the top.

On June 24, 2010, Kentucky had five players drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft. John Wall became the first Wildcat ever named the overall No. 1 pick when he was selected by the Washington Wizards.  DeMarcus Cousins was selected fifth by the Sacramento Kings, Patrick Patterson went 14th to the Houston Rockets, Eric Bledsoe went 18th to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Daniel Orton was picked 29th by the Orlando Magic.
