eRUPPtion Zone tickets being made available to the public

Per Eric Lindsey of the Athletics office, “You’ve been to Rupp Arena, the most storied college basketball arena in college basketball, before, but now you, the fans, have a chance to sit in the rowdiest student section in the country.  While the students are away for Winter Break, is opening up the eRUPPtion Zone to the general public. Single-game tickets for the eRUPPtion Zone will be available to the public for the Austin Peay (Dec. 19), Drexel (Dec. 21), Long Beach State (Dec. 23) and Hartford (Dec. 29) games.”  For more info go here.

On December 5, 2009, freshman John Wall bounced back from a bout with dehydration and a queasy encounter with an IV drip to finish with 16 points -- including the clinching free throws with 4.3 seconds left -- seven assists, five rebounds and three steals to lift the Wildcats to a 68-66 victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels.  This was the first signature win of Calipari's tenure and proved his rebuilding job was well ahead of schedule.
