The Governors will have their hands full with Kentucky and John Wall

“He's as good as I've seen,” Austin Peay coach Dave Loos said. “He's really good. He's so fast end-to-end and he's a great penetrator. So we're going to have to have people in the gaps to try to keep him away from the basket. But even when you do that, he's a guy who can pull up and shoot it. He's very good with the pull-up jumper. He can shoot a 3 and obviously he can get to the basket. And when he gets to the basket, he knows how to finish and often times he'll dunk on you. So we're going to try to keep him away from the basket and hopes he misses some shots.”

On This Day In UK Basketball History

On June 24, 2010, Kentucky had five players drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft. John Wall became the first Wildcat ever named the overall No. 1 pick when he was selected by the Washington Wizards.  DeMarcus Cousins was selected fifth by the Sacramento Kings, Patrick Patterson went 14th to the Houston Rockets, Eric Bledsoe went 18th to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Daniel Orton was picked 29th by the Orlando Magic.
