Two state lawmakers are putting on a full-court press to get former University of Kentucky coach Joe B. Hall into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Reps. Rick Nelson, D-Middlesboro, and Ruth Ann Palumbo, D-Lexington, have filed a resolution in Kentucky’s General Assembly urging the Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass., to enshrine Hall among its inductees.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
