Kentucky recruit Brandon Knight gets 41 points to power Pine Crest

A challenge is all that Brandon Knight needs to elevate his game and that's what he got in the form of Cardinal Gibbons guard Sam Mills, who torched the Panthers for 35 points.  But it wasn't enough to eclipse Knight or his Panthers. In response, Knight scored 41 points, including 26 in the second half and an exclamation tomahawk dunk in the final seconds of the game, as host Pine Crest ran away from Cardinal Gibbons 81-65 on Saturday night. He also had five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

On February 23, 2019, with an 80-53 victory over Auburn, 10th-year head coach John Calipari moves past Joe B. Hall for the second most victories by a UK head coach in program history. He trails only the Baron of the Bluegrass, Adolph Rupp.
