Jefferson senior Terrence Ross, The Oregonian 2008 Class 5A boys basketball player of the year, is a couple of steps from becoming eligible and joining the No. 1-ranked Democrats for the remainder of the season. Ross transferred from Jefferson in North Portland to Montrose Christian in Rockville, Md., in September 2008 for his junior year. Ross returned to Jefferson last week, and over the weekend, he decided he would like to play basketball for the two-time defending state champion Democrats.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
