Could Louisville’s last game in Freedom Hall be in the NIT?

Oh, this possibility makes me very, very happy.  From  “As the deflated home crowd filed out of Tuesday night following Louisville’s 70-60 loss to No. 11 Georgetown, the public address announcer reminded the Cardinals’ faithful to return March 6 “for the final basketball game in Freedom Hall.”  The Cardinals are moving from the historic 54-year old arena to a new downtown facility next season and there are all sorts of ceremonies planned for UL’s final game in against on March 6.  There’s only one small problem — it might not necessarily be UL’s last appearance in what former coach calls “the old barn.”
