East Tennessee State’s players realize that a No. 1 seed has never lost to a No. 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Yet the Buccaneers believe they have a legitimate chance to pull off the upset over Kentucky (32-2) here tonight in the NCAA East Regional first round. “They’re one of the best transition teams in the country. And they can really be dangerous if they get a chance to break out in the open court,” said ETSU’s Tommy Hubbard.
