Kentucky commit Enes Kanter could be ruled eligible

Hat tip to KentuckyInk.com.  On the eve of the first round of the NCAA tournament, with the nation focused on March Madness, a game-changing piece of amateurism legislation quietly took a step closer to entering the NCAA rulebook. The school with the most to gain from it, in the short-term, is .  NCAA proposal 2009-22 would allow international athletes who've played on teams with professionals, but not received compensation, to become eligible immediately, rather than face lengthy suspensions under current rules.

On February 23, 1970, Dan Issel scored 47 points against Alabama.

 

On February 23, 2019, with an 80-53 victory over Auburn, 10th-year head coach John Calipari moves past Joe B. Hall for the second most victories by a UK head coach in program history. He trails only the Baron of the Bluegrass, Adolph Rupp.
