Blue-chip high school basketball player Terrence Jones, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound senior from Jefferson High in Portland, Ore., will announce his college choice at 5:30 p.m. central time on Friday, Jones' mother, Linda, told Rivals.com via text message this afternoon. Jones, who is Rivals.com's No. 13-ranked player, visited Kansas University's campus Sunday through Tuesday. He's also considering Washington, Kentucky, Oklahoma, UCLA and Oregon. In a text message to the Journal-World, Linda said the announcement would be at Jefferson High.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
