On April 8, when news broke that Austin Rivers de-committed from Florida, Rivers told me that Florida is still in contention for his services and he's not de-committing, simply reopening his recruitment. “It's only right to look at other schools just to compare,” Rivers told the Sentinel. “I still love Florida the same. Coach Donovan, he respects it. I still have the same relationship. They didn't do anything.” Since then, no news has been positive for Florida regarding Rivers, at least publicly.
