John Wall was hoping to work out for the Wizards this week, so that he could kill two birds with one stone: He’s not much of a baseball fan, but he was interested in watching Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg make his debut against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday. It doesn’t seem that Wall will have a chance to catch Strasburg’s first pitch at Nationals Park, but the Kentucky freshman has already made plans to work out for the Wizards on June 17. The Wizards also plan to work out Ohio State junior Evan Turner, but they fully intend to take Wall first overall on June 24.
