Considering the poor performance of Louisville basketball this past year and the shaky outlook for the future due to recruiting failures, the university has decided to shift focus to the women’s rowing team. From WLKY.com: “The University of Louisville will construct a $2.65 million boathouse for the womens’ rowing team at Louisville’s Waterfront Park, located west of the Brown Forman Amphitheater. The building will feature locker rooms, offices, a deck which overlooks the Ohio River and indoor training facilities with 40 ergo meters, indoor rowing machines, and two rowing tanks containing 25,000 gallons of water.”
