As Patrick Patterson has worked his way through the NBA draft process, he’s learned quite a bit — including some things he didn’t know about himself. “Someone told me they see me as a shooter,” Patterson said. “I’ve never heard that before. I have no problem with that.” Despite the revelations in Patterson’s game, a big unknown is still out there for the 6-9 forward from Kentucky. Though he’s pretty much a lock to be picked in the first round of Thursday’s draft, he could end up with any number of teams, including the Grizzlies, who are considering Patterson with the No. 12 pick.
