DeMarcus Cousins passed every test they gave him — with honors. He stuck jumpers out to 20 feet, and even asked to run a shooting drill again when he didn’t hit them with the desired frequency. He showed enough agility to suggest that a motivated, 6-11 monster might be able to defend perimeter forwards. He sent assistant coach Roy Rogers — using a football-blocking pad as protection — flying by assaulting him with his backside on a post move.
