John Calipari has learned the hard way that people in Kentucky don't want their Big Blue basketball mixing with politics. The Kentucky coach canceled a fund-raiser for Gov. Steve Beshear just hours after news reports told of the plan to hold a $1,000-a-person cocktail reception at Calipari's home.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
