Not that Adonis Thomas needed any more attention, but the Melrose senior emphatically stated his case as one of the top players in the class of 2011 during a superb week at the adidas Super 64 tournament. Coming off a gold medal performance with the U.S. under-17 team at the FIBA World Championships, the 6-5 Thomas looked as confident and aggressive as ever leading the Memphis Magic Elite squad into today’s semifinals, trying for a repeat of the Super 64 championship he won last year.
