It was a lot of basketball packed into a short time, but a trip to Germany this summer may have been one of the best things that has happened to Marquis Teague. “You're not playing for yourself or your city or your school,” says rising Pike High School senior Marquis Teague. “You're playing for the country. That meant everything to me. I think I learned a lot.”The 6-2 Pike senior-to-be and Kentucky recruit helped the United States win the inaugural 2010 FIBA U-17 World Championship in Hamburg earlier this month. Teague said the pride of playing for his country will stay with him.
