Brandon Knight opened some eyes during UK‘s recent trip to Canada. Two of them belonged to his predecessor at point guard, former Wildcat John Wall. Wall, the No. 1 draft pick taken by the Washington Wizards, and Eric Bledsoe, selected 18th by Oklahoma City, called coach John Calipari last week after having seen Knight in the Cats’ exhibition games in Windsor, Ontario, and the coach recounted the conversation after UK’s exhibition finale.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
