But the governing body of college athletics may never have been so exposed for all to see in one short week as it has during this one. A college football player sold his soiled bowl jersey for one grand and was rewarded with a four-game suspension. A basketball recruit at Kentucky may be ruled ineligible because he played in a pro league in his native Turkey.
