Former Cat Travis Ford speaks at Hopkins County Habitat Celebration Dinner

The Hopkins County Habitat for Humanity held a dinner last week in celebration of their fundraising throughout the year and in tribute to their 50th house built, which is currently under construction. With several notable attendants, such as guest speaker, basketball legend, and Madisonville native, Travis Ford, 1st District Congressman Ed Whitfield, Mayor Will Cox, as well as a local sports radio “hero,” Bob Mays, the celebratory dinner brought out approximately 250 people according to Habitat’s Executive Director, Heath Duncan.
