Upper Room Christian's Rodney Purvis has gotten off to a terrific start to the 2010-11 season. Purvis, a 6-foot-3 point guard, is averaging 36 points per game after torching Greensboro Day with 46 in an 85-83 overtime victory last weekend in the High Point Wesleyan Christian tournament finals. Purvis scored 18 the night before in a 69-56 win over High Point Wesleyan.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
