Former Cat Patrick Patterson continues hot shooting as Rockets beat Celtics

Confidence was shaken. The losing streak was at five games. There had not been a victory against a team with a winning record since the first day of December. All the Rockets needed were a few more injuries. No matter what else they lacked, they knew they could find enough of those. For a third consecutive season in Boston, the Rockets discovered a fresh batch of injuries to go with their usual assortment. And for a third consecutive season, the Rockets stunned the Celtics, rolling through an outstanding offensive half to end their losing streak with a 108-102 win at TD Garden on Monday night.
