Jeremy Lundblad of .com takes an inside look at the numbers behind Tuesday’s top performances including Jimmer Fredette, BYU, and Penn State: “A month ago, set the freshman scoring record with 32 points, all coming off the bench. On Tuesday against Auburn, teammate broke that record by scoring 35 points, also as a reserve. It’s the second-most points by a freshman this season, behind Jared Sullinger’s 40.”
