Don’t discount fatigue being a factor in Kentucky’s defensive lapse

University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari didn’t provide much of an answer for why his team allowed its last three opponents to shoot over 50 percent on three-point attempts. After Tuesday’s win over Mississippi State, don’t discount fatigue being a factor. In those games UK’s main six players logged 575 minutes out of a possible 600, which piles on top of the 1,477 of a possible 1,600 minutes they logged in the first eight Southeastern Conference games.
