It took a little bit of a climb back and a couple of things to go Kentucky’s way, but the men’s team finally holds its own fate for the Eastern Division’s No. 2 seed in next week’s Southeastern Conference Tournament. It’s pretty simple for the Wildcats: win on Sunday at Tennessee and UK is the No. 2 seed; lose and the Cats are the No. 3 seed. The second seed would mean Kentucky would earn a first-round bye, plus the Cats wouldn’t have to play the Thursday 10 p.m. ET game in Atlanta.
