If you’ve seen “Glory Road,” you know a little about the Texas Western story. Very little. The movie opens with coach Don Haskins, as portrayed by Gig Harbor’s Josh Lucas, leading a high school girls team to a championship. He quickly lands the job in El Paso and then takes off on a cross-country odyssey, scouring America’s urban landscapes for raw talent. He hits the mother lode, landing seven black players who would challenge stereotypes and make history.
