They don’t want to be called giant killers anymore, but the Richmond Spiders were just that today at the Pepsi Center. Spurred by a second-half shooting show by senior guard Kenny Anderson, including a clutch jumper with 18 seconds left, the 12th-seeded Spiders beat fifth seeded Vanderbilt 69-66 to advance to Saturday’s third round against 13th-seeded Morehead State, which upset Louisville 62-61 in the day’s first game.
