Late in the second quarter of Wednesday night's Sixers-Clippers game, rookie sensation Blake Griffin got the ball on a fast break and looked as if he was getting ready to do what he does best. The Sixers had other plans. Philadelphia's Jodie Meeks appeared to hit Griffin in the face, knocking the Clippers rookie off balance. Tony Battie trailed the play from behind and grabbed Griffin as he fell to the ground hard. The 22-year-old got up quickly and looked like he might go after Battie before his teammates ran over to restrain him.
