Would-be Kentucky basketball player Enes Kanter threw out the ceremonial first pitch before UK's baseball team played Auburn Friday night. Baseball was a mystery to Kanter. He was also unsure about why the NCAA ruled him permanently ineligible. The NCAA ruled that he received $33,000 in excess of the permitted compensation in the third of his three seasons playing for a professional team in his native Turkey.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
