It was an up-and-down year for Washington rookie point guard John Wall, who averaged 16.4 points and 8.3 assists on the season, but whose Wizards won just 23 games. The losing bothered him, and he plans to work all summer on improving the weakest area of his game: the mid-range jumpshot. Wall hasn't really begun working on a 3-point shot and made just 29.6 percent in limited attempts this year. But he knows that he first needs to develop a 10-15 footer that he can make reliably, to punish defenses that sag off him.
