Once again the Big Men were missing for the Celtics. Fortunately for the C’s, Little Big Man was not. On a night when Shaquille O’Neal was again in a suit and Jermaine O’Neal was on the bench nursing a sore wrist much of the second half, it was the smallest man on the floor who came up the biggest, as Rajon Rondo slashed his way to a career playoff-high 30 points, on 11 layups, in a 96-93 victory that sent the Celtics off to New York leading the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series with the Knicks, 2-0.
