Unlike many coaches, Kentucky‘s John Calipari is honest about college basketball being a developmental league for the NBA. And players flock to the program because of that. Three of the top six recruits ranked by Rivals.com have signed with Kentucky for the 2011-12 season. Forwards Michael Gilchrist and Anthony Davis were named first-team members of USA TODAY’s All-USA boys basketball team and guard Marquis Teague was a third-team choice.
