The quiet of the lockout was briefly interrupted when multiple news reports surfaced that Nets star point guard Deron Williams has agreed to play in Turkey this fall if the league's labor impasse isn't settled. ESPN the Magazine's Chris Broussard reported that the deal is for one year for $5 million with Besiktas, the club that signed former Piston Allen Iverson briefly last season. Williams would leave the European team as soon as the lockout is settled.
