No need to fret over 2012 recruiting class

With no commitments for the Class of 2012, University of basketball fans have recently been wondering who will be the first one.  ESPN.com national analyst said he wasn't ready to predict who the Wildcats would land, but he said the fans could stop fretting.  “They are not going to get shut out,” Telep said. “They are playing the percentages. They are involved with so many elite guys, they'll get a couple of nibbles and then finally hook a couple of guys.”

On June 24, 2010, Kentucky had five players drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft. John Wall became the first Wildcat ever named the overall No. 1 pick when he was selected by the Washington Wizards.  DeMarcus Cousins was selected fifth by the Sacramento Kings, Patrick Patterson went 14th to the Houston Rockets, Eric Bledsoe went 18th to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Daniel Orton was picked 29th by the Orlando Magic.
