Arkansas says it was approached recently about joining the Big 12

Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long said Wednesday that the school was approached recently about joining the Big 12.  Long told The Associated Press that the Razorbacks are content to remain in the Southeastern Conference.  That information comes in the wake of the SEC’s announcement on Wednesday that it will accept Texas A&M as the league’s 13th member, if the school can exit the Big 12 without any pending legal issues.
