Kentucky plays St. Johns December 1. St. John's scored what appeared to have been the nation's third-ranked recruiting class, with coach Steve Lavin leading the nation in luring six top-100 players to New York. But this afternoon, the NCAA eligibility center informed the school that half of them won't be able to qualify for at least the fall semester. Forwards Amir Garrett, JaKarr Sampson and Norvel Pelle are ineligible, and that's a significant blow to the Red Storm.
