A couple of former Duke basketball stars, Christian Laettner and Brian Davis, will avoid a situation in which they could’ve been ordered to serve jail time after a judge ruled they are not in contempt of court. Instead, the two will have to disclose their assets and wait for a separate ruling (most likely a fine of sorts) in a civil suit that was brought against them that claimed the two defaulted on a loan for a development project.
