After what many analysts considered a slow start on the Class of 2012, the University of Kentucky again has one of the top recruiting classes in the country. The Wildcats added a major piece to the class on Thursday when Clarksville, Tenn., Northeast forward Alex Poythress announced and signed with UK. The 6-foot-8 Poythress, a top-20 prospect nationally, picked the Wildcats over Vanderbilt, Memphis and Florida and elevates the class into the No. 2 spot nationally.
