Just a few blocks down from Rupp lives a family who struggles every holiday, but Wednesday night, the men who play inside the arena helped make their Christmas a whole lot happier. Laquasjor Conner didn’t believe her son Cordell until she saw the proof – presents under the tree, a food basket, and a check to pay next month’s rent. The mother of two was at work when Coach Cal and the Wildcats stopped by to deliver some much appreciated Christmas cheer.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter’s Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
