Kidd-Gilchrist was playing with a heavy heart Thursday. His mother, Cindy Richardson, has been admitted to the hospital for undisclosed reasons and is expected to be there through the Christmas holiday. Coach Cal said he contemplated sending Kidd-Gilchrist home to be with his mother before finding out her condition wasn't immediate. Whatever heartache Kidd-Gilchrist was experiencing, he played through it.
Walter Cornett, of Glendale, Kentucky, is the owner and operator of Walter's Wildcat World. He founded WildcatWorld.com in 1998 making it one of the oldest Kentucky basketball fan sites in operation today.
