Immediately following this afternoon’s game between Kentucky and Loyola-Maryland, a twitter battle broke out between Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio and Kyle Tucker of the Louisville Courier-Journal. From what I understand, Kentucky players were not made available to the media following the game in an effort to get them out of Rupp Arena as quickly as possible so that they could join their families for Christmas. Members of the media were none too thrilled about it. Matt Jones started the fight. Kyle Tucker simply responded in defense of his profession and his peers. I can’t say that I blame Kyle. I won’t say anything else on the matter. People that know me know how I feel about it. You can form your own opinion but I would love to hear your thoughts on this. The entire conversation can be seen below. Or go to Matt Jones’ and Kyle Tucker’s twitter profiles and read it for yourself.
