Anthony Davis recorded three blocked shots in last night’s win over Arkansas-Little Rock. That brings his season total to 67 putting him in a four-way tie at 10th place with DeMarcus Cousins, Perry Stevenson and Melvin Turpin for the most blocked shots in a single season. He did it in only 15 games. The record is 83 and is held by Melvin Turpin and Andre Riddick. Given that we are right about the halfway point in the season, it stands to reason statistically that Mr. Davis will break that record. He only needs 17 more blocks.
