Paul Westphal has been fired as coach of the struggling Sacramento Kings, the National Basketball Association team said on Thursday. The Kings sit last in the Pacific Division with a 2-5 record. “Unfortunately, the overall performance level of the team has not approached what we felt was reasonable to expect,” Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie said in a statement.
