Future Cat Alex Poythress carries team into title round

Alex PoythressTo beat Northeast means trying to contain , a daunting and often impossible task.  The task is magnified when Northeast plays defense at the level it played in a District 10-AAA tournament semifinal game on Saturday against Clarksville High.  Poythress finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds, but it was the Eagles’ defensive play in the second quarter that changed the game’s complexion.
